Among the Trolls- The developers have posted a new Development blog focused on how the idea for the game got started.
Blind Descent- Summer break is over and the team is ready to dive in, detailing work plans for the next month.
Conan Exiles- PC Update 3.0, aka The Age of Sorcery, is basically a huge ass patch, so hit the link for details.
Forever Skies- Following a survey of the community, Forever Skies released their stance on death mechanics and some interesting tidbits from the survey results. Totally unsurprising to me that the Subnautica is the favorite survival title of the folks who are eagerly awaiting for Forever Skies. They are quite similar in many ways.
Icarus-As always Icarus continues with weekly updates– though the most recent one is an encouraging update on dedicated server status, new weapon attachments, and info on their upcoming taming and mount mechanic.
Jaws of Extinction- Patch 0.4.11 is here with a buttload of bug fixes, updates, and changes. In terms of new content there are now wolves & wild dogs in the world looking to eat you. No worries though, because you now have a companion dog to help fight your battles! It’s a German Shepherd (like in every single game) but there are more variants planned for the future.
Last Oasis- If you’re interested in a bunch of drama, hyperbole, and LOVE vs HATE, check the comment sections for the hotfixes/posts throughout August.
Mist Survival- Another progress report from the developer. Really we’re all just here for the dog animations.
Nightingale- Developers dropped a behind the scenes video on the lore and backstory of the game. Check out Nightingale Journal #1!
Outbreak Island- Developers have released a new demo for the game named Outbreak Island: Pendulum, to mixed reviews. I really hope I like it simply because I’m rooting for the husband/wife team making the game. Haven’t tried it yet!
Ozone Wipeout- With August behind us, the developer has posted a new progress report detailing what was worked on in August and the status of game development at this point in time.
SCUM- I’ve always appreciated SCUM’s ability to drop little useful updates in between major content drops. Things like smaller gas canisters and different types of foreign substance poisoning.
Starsand- A tiny post to make note stuff coming in September, including a video glimpse of new locations.
State of Decay 2- Bunch of great QoL changes in Update 30: Forever Communities
Survivalist: Invisible Strain– v155 is a large new patch currently in the publicbeta branch of the game. There’s not only an array of bug fixes, but additions to the interactions with NPC settlements, changes to the way savegames work, and more.
The Infected- V13 is now live on the main game branch! Time to find your NPC friend and get your ass kicked by abnormally tall vambies.
Undying- Developers are pushing through the final major phase of development, as well as polish & porting work. There are two major updates planned for Q4 this year.
Winter Survival- Well the game is less of a mouthful without the simulator part tacked on to the title at least. Devlog number 7 is a tiny post showcasing some pretty visuals and a bit of background.
